This is a song about life, and how I'm usually wrong about it. The title was inspired by a scene in the first episode of FLCL.

Sometimes you fight against yourself
and you can't even stop doing
what it is you hate
and backtracking is a cause to celebrate
because you've learned this point before:
that a life is a pattern
you learn, then forget
You can waste it trying to get back to
the end
